Giuliana La Malfa earned a bachelor's degree in DAMS (Arts, Music, and Performing Arts), majoring in Cinema, from the University of Bologna in 2011. In 2013, she participated in a cultural exchange program at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Upon returning to Messina, she earned a diploma in Advertising Graphics.
In 2014, she attended the comics course at the Scuola del Fumetto, launching her journey into the world of comics. She debuted in the industry in 2018 as a color assistant and, since 2019, has been working steadily as a colorist. 
She collaborates with numerous Italian and international publishing houses, including Éditions Soleil, Feltrinelli Editore, Tunué, Markosia Enterprises, Taurus Comics, Drakoo, Shockdom, Mad Cave, Ten Speed Press, Black Box Comics, Éditions Delcourt, and Futuropolis. 
At the same time, she continues to devote herself to illustration for independent projects and book covers.
In 2022, she founded Officina del Sole, a creative space shared with other artists, in her hometown Messina.
In 2024, she joined DC Comics as a color assistant, a collaboration that continues to this day.
